Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FiduWork, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this platform. These terms apply to all users, including freelancers, clients, and visitors. FiduWork reserves the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Use of Service

FiduWork provides a decentralized marketplace connecting freelancers and clients through on-chain escrow, credential verification, and reputation systems. You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not use FiduWork to engage in fraudulent activity, impersonate any person or entity, transmit harmful content, or attempt to circumvent our security systems or smart contract logic.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of FiduWork, you must connect a compatible Web3 wallet. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet and private keys. FiduWork will never ask for your private key or seed phrase. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use FiduWork. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Payments and Escrow

All payments on FiduWork are facilitated through smart contract escrow. When a client funds a contract, the payment is held in escrow until the work is delivered and approved, or resolved through the dispute process. FiduWork charges a platform fee on completed transactions as described in our fee schedule. Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible by nature; FiduWork is not responsible for losses resulting from user error, wallet compromise, or blockchain network issues beyond our control.

5. Disputes

FiduWork provides an on-chain dispute resolution mechanism powered by a decentralized jury system. Either party to a contract may initiate a dispute if the other party is unresponsive or if there is a disagreement about deliverables. The dispute process is governed by the FiduWork protocol rules, and jury decisions are binding and executed on-chain. By using FiduWork, you agree to participate in good faith in any dispute resolution process and to accept the outcome of the on-chain jury.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FiduWork and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform. FiduWork's total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you to FiduWork in the three months preceding the claim.

7. Contact

If you have any questions about these Terms of Use, please contact us at support@fiduwork.com. We will respond to your inquiry as soon as reasonably practicable.
